The Newest Award Winner: The Honda CR-V

The newest Honda to receive awards is the Honda CR-V . The 6th generation model has earned top honors from Car and Driver for a second consecutive year. The 2024 Honda CR-V is surprisingly spacious for a compact SUV. It was redesigned in 2023, and the newest model still has the turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine with 190 horsepower and 179 lb-ft of torque. It has comfortable seating for five and a plethora of popular safety and infotainment features.

The Award-Winning Honda Accord & Honda Civic

The Honda Accord and Honda Civic are the winningest models in the Honda lineup. Car and Driver has awarded the Honda Accord for the 38th time, and the Honda Civic has earned its third consecutive top award.

In 2022, the Accord won a Best Buy award from Kelley Blue Book. The midsize sedan also received a Best Midsize Car for the Money award from US News and World Report. The top Honda ratings also included an NHTSA 5-Star Safety Rating and an IIHS Top Safety Pick+ award in 2023.

The Honda Accord received a redesign in 2023, and the 2024 model is outfitted just like the previous year. It comes with the same powertrain as the Honda CR-V.

Honda has also won repeated awards with the latest iteration of the Honda Civic . The iconic compact car has earned top honors in all its forms: as a sedan, hatchback, and performance model (the Type R). The Civic Sedan and Hatchback were named the 2022 North American Car of the Year, along with receiving awards from Car and Driver, US News and World Report, Edmunds, and Kelley Blue Book. Both models also received IIHS Top Safety Pick ratings in 2023.
