What is The Maintenance Minder™ System?

Standard on all 2023 and newer Honda models, the Maintenance Minder™ system uses your vehicle’s onboard computer to let you know exactly when service is needed. Instead of relying only on mileage or time intervals, this advanced system analyzes your personal driving habits and engine conditions to determine the optimal time for maintenance and multi-point inspections.

The system continuously tracks your vehicle's health by monitoring key operating factors like speed, temperature, and engine performance. When it’s time for service, you’ll see visual alerts in your vehicle and may even receive reminders on your phone specifying the exact maintenance required.

How the Maintenance Minder™ Works

The system uses a combination of letters and numbers to tell you what service is due:

Change Oil Filter.
B
Replace the engine oil and oil filter. Perform front and rear brake cleaning and lubrication. Adjustparking brake. Perform in-depth inspection of the brake components.

Perform multi-point inspection.

Tires need a roation service.

Replace the canin and engine air filters
3
Replace the transmission fluid.

Replace spark plugs, timing belt (if equipped) and adjust valves.

The engine coolant needs replacing.

If equipped, rear differential fluid needs replacing.
7
Replace brake fluid.
